The concept of the book is tied to a life full of challenges and changes that transformed the life of an immigrant teenager. Plenty of emotions that allow the reader to perceive the passion and anxiety faced during the struggles and triumphs that many immigrant teenagers can relate to. It connects the learning of a new language and culture that, instead of enhancing a dream, creates conflicts with her family relations.
Is an educator with over 37 years of experience. Her career began as an instructor teaching at college level. She quickly realized her true life purpose was teaching children. She worked in the New York City School System at Middle School level and at the Adult Education GED Programs.
